Yes there are a few things to know going in.
On wearing it: The standard pattern is overnight + 2-3 hours during the day. Build up gradually with shorter intervals during the day first rather than going straight to overnights — that helps the soft tissue adjust. Most folks find the early phase is the hardest part and it gets significantly easier after a few weeks usually.
On early discomfort: Pretty common in the first few weeks. Sore teeth, achy gums, occasional small sores in the mouth, the lips not closing fully, extra saliva — all signs the soft tissue is stretching, not signs something is wrong. Take it at your own pace. If the soreness gets sharp, take a short break — a few hours or even a day or two off is fine. Stick with it but don't push through pain.
On accelerating results: What matters most is consistent use and then stretching to accelerate. The Fast Method in our Skool community has some stretches we recommend, including the Bite & Hold exercise that works alongside the mouthguard: Learn more
On mouth taping: A lot of folks tape at night to keep the mouth closed and help with guard retention while the tissue is still adjusting. Pairs well with the Reviv.
